Medium Camp Hatchet

This hatchet is designed for bush craft / camping - for hard work and survival!  Also suitable for around the home.

The head is hand forged from 4140 steel and is fully heat treated enabling the poll to be used as a flat hammer, which is perfect for setting camp stakes and various other tasks requiring blunt striking.

The handle is sculpted from American Ash with a wooden wedge to fit the head to the handle which is proud of the eye.

Both the head and handle have a finishing coat of linseed oil.

This hatchet does not come with a sheath.  However, a custom sheath may be purchased separately from our online store.
